Deadline reports that Ice Cube is in negotiations to return for the sequel Barbershop 3. Fellow cast members Cedric the Entertainer and Queen Latifah are also in talks to return for their roles for the third film.

Queen Latifah's character had a "guest appearance" in the 2004 sequel, Barbershop 2: Back in Business, and she later starred in the spinoff film, Beauty Shop, in 2005.

Cube will also produce the third film alongside Matt Alvarez, Bob Teitel, and George Tillman Jr

I liked barbershop. Michal Ealy was cool, Cedrick was on point, cube played that same character he plays. I didn't really care for queen latifa (my auto correct tried to change it to latina, lol) but it'd be cool if they could bring back Eve
