If this were true and it came down to ice vs local police, who are you all pulling for?
Well, I don't care for either, but the police have more means, more firepower, and not to mention manpower.
ICE is relatively small as an operational unit compared to the standard police department, which is crazy considering the amount of press they've gotten over the past year, they're not that big in terms of actual force.
Across each state in America, police officers outnumber ICE by a pretty large gap. ICE only has one major operational headquarters per state, which means they'd have to travel from city to city within their state to handle affairs. Not every city has an ICE command unit, but every big or medium-sized city and neighboring small towns, villages, etc within each state has its own police department.
