i was on youtube earlier fukking around and i saw this again

pretty cool to actually be able to SEE what you've been hearing for so long! i was wondering if ya'll knew of any other clips like this, where an iconic verse was laid down on film. the only other one that comes to mind immediately is PE's "it takes a nation" dvd from the bum rush the show tour where you can actually see where they grabbed all those "live" samples from on nation of millions. it was cool actually seeing "if yall really like to rock the funky beats say yeah" and "bring that beat back" cause ive heard them in the songs so many damn times

i know theres an old death row documentary from when dr dre recorded the chronic.. i dont recall any particular verses on film tho

anyways... :feedme:

It's a dope thread.

I think now we can see a lot of footage of rappers doing some classic sh1t here and there.

Yee-zus documentary had a lot of gems on there. Jay's documentaries and the black album documentary show a lot of verses and recordings.

DMX documentary back in 2000 had a few classic recordings, a lot of his earlier dope sh1t. Mobb Deeps 'first infantry' documentary when they went out to LA to that tattoo artist Mr Joker I think he is called. Early Deathrow documentaries too. There is the 'Watching The Throne' Doc where Kanye is spitting trash rhymes and name drops Russell Crowe while Russell Crowe was watching.

I can't find the clip but there is one from Lil Wayne's Carter Documentary where he pulls a mic from his luggage and starts recording a rap from his hotel room on the go. He was punching in them verses, I used to think he did at least 8-12 bars then punch in but nah lol.

Even tho you and I have had many differences, I give you props on this thread.

I hope it builds.

Even tho it's not a recording the footage of Biggie and Onyx at a photo/studio session is crazy classic!
