People are weird man...I don't know if some of these kids today could rock how we were rocking back before social media. However did we know if we were anybody? We didn't even know who was following us back then...We couldn't post outfits of the day or thirst traps (male and female)

i don't really see what the shocker is. There are lots of people on IG like that.
Though I agree on "value as a person" ie: being a good human being, having a life and actual value... that social media isn't everything
as far as a personal brand and building a business...social media these days is everything. It's where people's attention is. People who are trying to build themselves as a brand (and monetize off of themselves) Social media is the go to. It's the television of 40 years ago. It's the radio of 80 years ago.
