Here's what I noticed...
People lately on the coli been calling anyone with an opinion a "Smart dumb n1gga"

The thing is though who's not one of them?
Well the dude that never or barely ever gives his opinion that's who.

Majority of those that are labelled as such are people who dislike the person's opinion just because it's either anti-establishment or not following the masses, as in the opinion that the majority of people hold.

I personally think people who engage in this name calling act are those who have never been exposed to the study of philosophy or who greatly lack critical thinking.

You guys aren't smart dumb nuccas, you just dumb!

Yeah after a while it kinda became apparent that the real "smart dumb nikkaz" was the ones who use the phrase "smart dumb nikkaz" because they believe themselves to be smarter than who they are talking about, but if someone where to analyze both individuals lives it would be clear who is really smart and who is dumb.

Its ego. Some people think their opinion holds massive weight. If you insult some one because they simply don't agree with you then it just makes you look foolish.

Sometimes they are just informed badly in one subject but feel the need to maintain their "smart nikka" approach and try to sound smart while sounding dumb to people who are informed correctly. And they are almost always narcissistic enough to think that their opinion is a fact. Killer mike is probably the leader in that division, Mos Def as well. Smart ass dudes who aren't afraid to speak on every subject and act like they know it all, which becomes a problem cause no one knows everything.

I would call Lupe Fiasco a troll more than smart dumb, cause mostly when he's saying dumb things he's not trying to sound smart or at least not giving that impression.
He just wants attention for his opinions, which is why his dumbest moments are almost exclusively reserved for stages with a long media reach.
