Democrats always have to be the nice guys. Which is why they lose even when they dominate both houses. They need someone with balls to really take the fight to the republicans. Obama, Biden and his soft ass liberal elite friends aren’t that type.The Democrats don't know how either and they're honestly not even trying.
The answer is pretty obvious, people on the right are not above outright lying or misrepresenting the facts.

that's one way of looking at it but I think it's the wrong way. It is in fact the propaganda, it's very effective, not just on white ppl but non-whites as well.

When you understand that the only thing that drives their vote is a hatred of black people, it makes things easier. If the Democratic party cared about black people and tailored its platform to our community’s needs, it would be in far better shape than it is now.
A polling company called me the other day and I agreed to answer questions. They gave me a list of like 8 different issues and asked which was the most important to me. They listed covid, Inflation, crime, immigration...and critical race theory. 
I couldn't hold it in. I busted out laughing, wondering what type of idiots are stressing over CRT. Apparently there's plenty.

People will say anything then they will vote Republican cause they were going to that no matter what. They used to try to sound reasonable “I vote for the man and not the party” “I vote for family values” now they flat out don’t give a fukk.
They could actually win some ground back with the Democrats looking lost without the Trump boogeyman… now they actually deliver on something and they were all talk… but they’ve lost control,of the party’s narrative. The party is run by racist weirdos who seem to be getting worse and worse.
Republicans have no plan and no direction other than grifting and fixing things so they can’t lose, but they are still trending to take back Congress.
