What’s up with all these celebs doing shyt in Africa? Do they get some type of kickback from the government out there or something. Something seem off about all that shyt to me. Gotta be something deeper.
It isn't nefarious, and there isn't a grand conspiracy theory that people always seem to be looking for.
Your money goes further because of the costs involved and exchange rate, there is more physical space available because the countries aren't as built up as Western countries already are, there are more opportunities because there are fewer people already doing it, and there are fewer roadblocks because you don't have to compete with white people who don't want you interrupting their already established game.
And with the tax incentives in the US driving up the cost of production, more and more production is moving away from the usual places and going international.
Even American gameshows are being shot outside of America to save money.
