If a thread is locked, can we still get a post from that thread into our sig?

Theoretically speaking if I wanted to take a post from a locked thread and make it into my sig, is that possible, or since I can’t technically quote it, am I stuck? Any knowledge on that would be appreciated

Maybe you can pull it off if you manually input the quote info in the square brackets.
