Tipping? I never tip no matter how poor or great the service is.

Reform the employment laws to make min wage, but Nah I'd rather gamble and make a low wage and high tips

On the regular, I tip 20-25%. 25% for great service. I sometimes tip 33% for memorable dining experiences, or if a server goes out of their way to make sure I was happy.

lowest I'll go is 10%. I know how the restaurant industry works, and all I can say is don't be a ****. Tip the damn servers. And if the service is that fukking awful, tell the manager.

I just tell then to leave the pitcher and hand them 5 bucks. I drink alot through my meal and they would get a workout just trying to refill my cup. I then leave the rest of the tip at the end of the meal based on race/gender, the quality of the food and them coming back a couple of times just asking if me and my guest are straight.

Most waiters/waitresses aren't caking either :leostare:

They are hard workers, and bust their ass on their feet all day. There is a reason they make below min wage, and that's because they provide a service. It's common courtesy to tip someone that performs a service for you.

Can't believe yall motherfukkers are arguing over whether or not you should tip :comeon:

Restaurants had to start adding gratituity to patron's checks because of cheap asses who think they aren't obligated to tip. :mindblown:

I tip regardless, I know the restaurant/service industry hustle. I don't break balls when I go.

In this case what are you tipping her for exactly?

For telling you where to sit and taking you order? If that's the case how much is that worth?

I'm never understand why i should feel sorry for someone who would spit in my food if they are unhappy w/my tip or lack of tip.

If that's the case maybe they deserve the money the owner pays them. If that's their train of thought when it comes to not getting what they want.

Who do the servers work for?
Who is in position to change why they make min. wage?
How may business contract do I enter when I walk through a diner door?
The owner knows they are on their feet all day, yet he gives no fukks, right?
When its a slow day what does the owner do to help out his hard working/ on feet all day/ under payed employees?

If someone who eats there once or twice a month should know how bad they are doing. Surely the owner who pays them shyt wages, looks out for them when its slow? Since they only took that wage cause of the tips the owner promised.:youngsabo:

My girl and I went to TGIFridays last night...horrible experience...

I feel bad because I chalked it up to it being the "Black TGIFridays" (ie: the one on Silver Hill Road in Suitland, MD) but damn, yes it was busy, but our waiter came to our table 3 times the whole night, we waited for food for an hour almost 1 1/2 hours...

My food was lukewarm but got order right, my girls was lukewarm and messed hers up...took another 30 min to get another steak (which she DIDN'T order) but no sides with this one, just a steak on a plate...:snoop: Waiter was on point for table behind us, but I looked and they left him NO tip...while IF he woulda took care of us, I take care of servers (tip wise) but guess he'll never know that...My man went to the people behind us 5 or 6 times...(maybe cuz they were young adult females IDK) but straight dogged us...STILL gave the man 20% tip mostly b/c i was tired and ready to get home and have my girl massage my back

I chalk it up to "nikka establishments" cuz the TGIF in VA (by Eisenhower) is good, even on busy days...them folks make sure to take care of you...

Comes down to want to...yeah you work hard all day, but do you WANT to give good service to someone or do you not? It's just that simple if you ask me

They usually have a shot mexican dude walking around pouring water so I don't know how a lack of refill reflects badly on the waiter/waitress...

DO YOU TIP? :leon:

shyt no.

I'll tip 100% for good service if I've had a good day.

Me and my girl was in Dennys a month ago and this broad did everything from clean the two tables around us to rolling silverware in the next section over while we waited for our cofee to be refilled and/or the check.

I spoke to the GM and was like "Do you recognize us? we're in here all the time. Next time we're in here... *pulls random (but somewhat a regular) waitress to me in a hip hug* sit me in her section, cause THAT bytch SUCKED. *points to our waitress*"
