Can you imagine how dynamic their lyrics would be :ohhh:

Imagine a 16 from Ghost :banderas:

I believe it would heighten the culture to really push their self to attain higher learning:ahh:

But then you would have these concocted aggrandized emcee's :scusthov:
Keep your 1st eye open gentlemen:demonic:

One of the coolest things about a 16 from ghost is the slang, I don't know how proper formal english would make a ghost verse better.

I never said formal.

And you probably can't imagine it because you're still stuck on Supreme Clientele mode.

Having a larger range in regards to vocabulary allows you to get your point across infinitely. Mixed that in with just being a creative genius you have a ill emcee. Why do you think a lot of people are fukkin with Roc Marciano right now? The way he thesaurusizes (:mjpls:) his lyrics is impeccable and causes for heavy replay because of it's complexity.

I ABSOLUTELY do not agree....

That's like saying what if artists who draw and paint used rulers, can you imagine how much straighter the lines would be...?

What a bout instrumentalist using MIDI, can you imagine how perfectly synchronized the notes would be...?

We don't more forced "lyricism"...That whole "technically" movement is so annoying in it's a attempt to turn an art form like rapping into a science of rules that anybody can just follow...

Basically, it's a creation of a stencil/cookie cutter...There is nothing of that in hip hop as it is...

You basically just described Kendrick Lamar :mjpls:

He is a very technical emcee.

If rappers read and studied the English dictionary.....they'd all sound like K-Rino....

fukk the english language, that we speak it at all is a matter of unfortunate historical happenstance...I encourage rappers to mangle it as much as they can, at their discretion

many good points made. i'll add my 2 since and say the dictionary is a collection of words people use, not the other way around.
