If all the “good black men” decide to put their happiness first above all … what would that do to the community #notroll

There is no one big Black community to begin with and most majority black communities are shyt already :francis:

Though Black upper class communities are great.

In a way yes

I noticed those men don’t get respected like they once was

Including all the step fathers long ago (20-25 years ago)

What if they looked for their own happiness became selfish

Would that be the end of the community?

:ohhh:

Being "Good black men" doesnt mean being a pillar in the community. There are very few leaders within most communities. Being good doesnt make you a leader, or able to reach the people in the community who need leadership the most. How would good black men being selfish cause havoc. When good black men who are leaders and giving back is a rarity.

Now if your talking about what if good black men go "pawg"? #RenderUntoCeasar:respect:. Thats not the kind of example we need set for the youth:martin:

This is such a terminally online question...I see happy black couples every day raising kids. This gender war stuff is a loud vocal minority of weirdos
This logic literally makes zero sense.

Just because you don’t see something in real life doesn’t mean that it’s not a problem.

You can’t accurately analyze whether a couple is “happy” or not based on a few seconds of seeing them or interacting with them.

I’ve been in relationships where people told us we “looked good/happy together”.

Meanwhile we were on the verge of breaking up.

Imagine if I applied this logic to COVID.

No one in my immediate family died from it. None of my friends did. I live in Texas and we barely had a lockdown.

That does not now mean that the pandemic didn’t happen and wasn’t a real issue. The stats show otherwise.

Just like the stats show that the quality of relationships in this country are on a steady decline across all racial/ethnic groups.

And as the saying goes, when white America catches the cold black America catches the flu.

I don’t even put the blame on woman

I have this feeling we hate each other

And I can’t put my finger on how did this happen

But it’s there and it’s apparent

Why not? They are a big part of the equation.
nikkas are fighting and shooting each other over petty beefs, a lot of times it is over a woman.
Yes drugs and turf but it seems to be less violence over that and more over silly shyt.

How many stories have we seen recently of nikkas getting sent on dumby missions because their girl or sister or even mama got upset about something and called dude to handle it.

The hate comes from emotional immaturity and not being raised with discipline and structure. Combined with the fact that we see each other as competitors instead of potential partners.

And I understand what OP is trying to ask, he just did a very poor job of articulating his question.

My Dad was a Julius Rock/Bernie Mac type of guy.

He raised not only us, but three of my Moms nieces/nephews because their mom was on drugs.

Other kids from the neighborhood who didn’t have fathers in their lives could come and get advice from him about school/work/relationships.

He was a volunteer basketball coach and had a weight room in our garage that anyone could use on the weekends.

I could go on and on, but the point is that he definitely did a lot for the “community”. Yet this same community act like men like him don’t exist or are rare in the black community.

If men like him were to hear that rhetoric and say “ok fukk it” a lot of people would be much worse off. :francis:

To keep it a 💯. Most of the "good ones", we find success and try to go back and literally almost get killed in the process, car broken in with a week of being back. We flee ans just say why even try when you have kids and tired from always being the token black in college class at work etc. You just want peace. So you peace out
