The number of seniors in this country is increasing and too many young people are so busy trying to make rent and afford the basic necessities that they'll laugh in your face if you ask them why they aren't having kids.
These old people are deferring their retirement, and many of them have 401ks meaning if the stock market tanks, there goes their retirement so they'll keep working until they get fired.
That means you'll see more seniors straight up dying at work or on the way to work. 2 coworkers in the last 4 years straight up expired and we found out days later why they weren't answering phone calls. They didn't have family members or friends to tell us what happened, so staff did wellness checks and they found out they were dead.
You're going to see car accidents because these old people literally can't see well and their reaction time is hog shyt. Some of them will straight up be driving while having dementia. One of my friends was telling me how his dad is furious because his license was taken away. The mf nearly killed everyone in the car while he's driving. Early onset alzheimers
If we don't put more money into these programs and get people's health and finances under control, we'll have to get used to seeing death daily. You'll be in the store and the Walmart greeter might have a heart attack. Your manager might literally forget what he's saying and stop making sense in the middle of a meeting.
One of my coworkers told me his girl's manager(she's a secretary) kept asking why a staff wasn't coming into work. The ngga forgot the staff quit 3 months ago. He still asks where she is even though she literally had a sendoff and HE WAS THERE.
