I heard people say if blacks didnt buy Gucci or jordans or other expensive things.

There would be more wealth if people didnt live beyond they means.

The issue is that when you only have enough to buy expensive shyt that doesn't hold value, as opposed to buying property or starting a business. But at the same time, people want to look good, if nothing else, they just want to look fly every now and then. I can't hate because I've made poor choices when I was flush with money. It's harder to build wealth than it is to dress like you have money. We need more incubator programs, where once you complete the program and develop a business plan and strategy, you take a voucher to the bank and you get an instant micro business loan or grant that you don't have to pay back. We used to have them here in KC, and they still probably do to a smaller extent.
