they make the most authentic street shyt out here. i believe they every bit as crazy as they make out. unfortunately they are self destructive, nihilistic and fatalistic which is extremely unhealthy and something i do not support. if they could hang around with the og's of wise and smart street shyt, cube and krs, i think they could learn from those old heads and maybe bring more science and perspective to they street shyt. and that what the game missing. from asap, to kanye, to drake, to chance, i have to c/s what that fake ghostfase been preeching, the feminisation of hip hop is horrible to behold. i never feard it until i saw what we lost. street shyt is being phased out of hip hop something horrible. it barely exists anymore breh.
i dint want to harp on the good ol days, but when you have all the wu, biggie, pac, nas, jay, cube, scarface etc in they prime out there representing for the long forgotten dudes in the hood, it was better. who does that now? i just feel like a certain type of black perosn has ben erased form the culture and its sad. i dont recognise this music anymore. its damn near what happened to r&b when it became discofied brehs.
i came to this conclusion when i heard a podcast on grantland and dude praisedkanye for bringing his emotions and opening up the door for drake and asap and odd future. he also said the one street record on futures album was a safe record as in, whatever about that stret isht. if the music thought leaders are encouraging the end of street isht, and its happening, i want out brehs. this music got year to fix itself otherwise ima have to write the whole henre off. we need a street nikka with science to breakthrough to save this isht.
