he is not a true competitor in my opinion

this is his best opportunity to win a ring, and create a real legacy in a franchise that has more history than the fukking clippers...

there is no excuse to not try to get on the team best suited to win a championship....and if he resigns with the clippers for money....he aint shet

Can they afford a max player with Paul Geogre getting the max next year and Hubert already having a max????

Pacers are at $49 million in committed salary for next season. Cap is at $58.5 million.

They need to re-sign West. To get CP3, they'd have to clear Granger's $14 million off the cap first to make a move at CP3.

They actually can do it if they want to.

CP3 on that squad means they are in the NBA Finals right now.

If they extend Paul George, his extension won't kick in till 2014-2015.

Pacers need to find another shooter or two off the bench at the wings who can play some D too.

I forgot the Pacers used the amnesty on James Posey ($7 million deal) in December 2011. :snoop: It was around the time they signed West to that 2 year $20 million deal.

Indy or ATL (with Dwight) would make the most sense from a basketball standpoint.

But CP3 wanted a big market so it's not gonna happen.

Well thought out

-they would need a 3rd team to facilitate a Granger trade (you know the Clips aren't taking back that contract lol)

-no guarantee Paul George does an extension. He might wanna wait till he is a free agent.

-as talented as Stephenson is....he can be a knucklehead and he's a poor shooter. If you are trying to win short term, trade him....if long term, keep and hope he keeps developing (which I think he will....he had a pretty good playoff)

-Chris Paul is very optimistic wishful thinking....I sound crazy but a trade for Tyreke Evans would work to a lesser degree (his value is low, a change of scenery to a winning organization could bring out the best in him)

He'll be 24 years old and a restricted free agent. Sure, he can test the market like Hibbert did and sign an offer with another team... but you know Indiana will match any and all offers he signs. He is staying on that squad for the next 5-6 seasons atleast.

Stephenson should be relegated back to the bench as the 6th or 7th man. He is a very good defender and he shouldn't even be expensive to keep... plus he is very young. He will get better as will George.

They aren't that far.

Yeah, fukk all that "big market" shyt.

Look at Lebron. While he was in a small market (Cleveland), he was still gettin major endorsement money, was either #1 or #2 in terms of most popular ATHLETE (not just NBA player).

Shiiiiit. Id love to play in Indianapolis. Id only be 2.5 hrs away from Columbus:blessed:
