That's kind of my fear. Even if Clinton wins, the GOP may just refuse to allow her to fill the spot at all. I'm not sure if there's anything that could be done about it tbh.

Not even including the Senate and them voting on Supreme Court picks....in terms of actual legislation lets be honest Hillary is gonna face gridlock her entire 4 years. Its painfully obvious. Plus she just has one term president written all over her face.

Plus her saying there is no doubt as President she would make Bill in charge of economic initiatives would not go well with Republicans and they would spend 4 years talking about him taking plane rides on a pedophile's plane.

That's not happening. Republicans will keep control of the House until 2022 more than likely because that's when the district's will be redrawn. The Democrats have more Senate seats up for reelection than Republicans in 2018. There's going to be nothing but grindlock for the next 4 yrs.

if the republicans retained the senate and just refused to fill the supreme court vacancy and democrats don't show up in 2018 (regardless of who is defending more seats) in presidential year turnout levels then we deserve the govt we'll have.
