Dems don’t think like savages. Having impeachment hearings running during the campaign would ether Trumps soul. Breh doesn’t have the discipline to stay on campaign message while trying to sent hate tweets every time someone testifies.

Because it would be seen as blatantly political, and I don't think most people would be comfortable with impeachment being used that way.

Dems are letting the country down being sell outs to corporations and the rich. Their whole "We're not as bad as Republicans" schtick is no longer working. People are just really fed up and want a real opposition party to Republicans not Republican lite. They better wake up and smell the kush and just do impeachment hearings for the optics.
If they don't try and impeach and nominate an Establishment type for president guaranteed loss to Trump in 2020 and the war with Progressive wing of the party will quickly become a losing battle. I hope they lose to Progressives sooner rather than later, but a 2020 L to Trump will end the Establishment, they really would have to sit down.
