If Garvey, Elijah,Malcolm,Martin, etc were alive and young today, we'd be to high/drunk to act.

If all of our past visionaries were alive today with the resources we have now, do you all think it would make a difference? Would we become more discipline and unite or would systematic white supremacy adapt? Many of the people of our parents and grandparents generation were scary c00ns yet now act like they walked with Malcolm when more than likely they didn't rock with dude. Our generation has a fearless attitude but we are so drunk and high and consumed with irrelevant material thing we use our "no dambs given" attitude for ignorance. What do you guys think?

we're all too content with our bread and circuses to act...that's all westerners not just american blavks..
Of course, no oppression has ever ended peacefully. But in this day in age the physical oppression has been switched with a mental oppression making people content with being 2nd class.

I doubt it would've turned out like this to begin with.

and if anyone new were to pop up, we'd swear they would kill him/her or s/he would have to be cool and popular enough to follow.

the only way to gain any kind of traction now (in my opinion) is by bamboozling the church. Our culture's collective consciousness is different.

But we need to be galvanized. We need not just education, but the right kind of education. We need to be taught structure. Self sufficiency. Not to be waiting on man or God for hand outs or "what we deserve".

And to fight and, if needed, die for it so our children can have it.

and sadly... that kind of rhetoric isn't going to come from the church. :to:

We don't need some dude preaching peace through prayer and prayer alone to a room full of women aged 13-80 and their bored husbands and boyfriends.

We need our streets unified and educated. To police and protect our own.

I'm sorry I got off track from the actual question, brehs. Late hours and VSOP. :to:

most older black people... didn't fukk with Malcolm X

and their kids today...... Call people Militant when they hear pro black shyt.

Plus , if a black person is Muslim, more than likely the Black masses will reject them regardless of how much work they put in and regardless of the ideas they have.

And this generation......... isn't lost.. it's just that there are more black people then ever who are c00ns and who antagonize the young blacks who have budding thoughts of change.

Of course our generation isn't lost, if Elijah or Garvey had our generations talent it would be amazing what could have come from out of it. Our issue is we are to content from the drugs booze and material trinkets we are given and the token c00ns we see in the media who say "see we all don't gotta be po we new blacks"

Look at how many blacks are :cape: for ISIS. That shows you just how desperate for some kind of movement many of our young black people are. The Muslims are taking action. They are not getting turnt up and c00ning it on television for cacs. We may not agree with their religious extremism, but there is something to respect in how Muslims are standing up to western white supremacy. Black people are rudderless, headed nowhere and sinking. Our "leaders" have all been compromised for a few dollars and a chance for meaningless celebrity. Islam is gaining ground across the entire world. We might want to take note and figure out how we can initiate a similar movement.

Black muslims have build madd kinddoms in ancient africa.. took over europe, and even turn da fukk up in the 1930's.......... Not even the 60's... in the 30's back before it was cool to wileout.

I don't think black people should all try to be Muslim, but I think that if someone like Malcolm pops up............ We shouldnt act like we did in the 60's and reject the ideas.

Mainly because if shyt does pop off, it might be black muslims that will do a lot of the 'dirty ' work.

I ain't gonna speak on that ISIS stuff because Coli dudes speak on it so much almost like they are FBI informants lol, but I will say look at how dudes on here look up to Tariq. Our generation wants a leader or a movement to join. All of the current schools of thought like the Hebrew Israelites or the cats on the Egypt stuff are too hotep and dusty for the avg young person. I think one thing that drew blacks to the Nation of Islam was the cleanliness and how at peace these people were and blacks saw that if something can uplift you in such a way it must be worth being a part of.

You can believe that ISIS shyt of you want but theyre being funded and supported by our government. Theyre being used as pawns just so our government has a reason to go in Syria and take out Assad. The media is in on it so theyre trying to distract us from whats really going on by making us think all these young people are trying to join ISIS and we gotta look out of for these lone wolves. Its a bunch of bullshyt

title?:what:

disrespectful
it's kinda wild he put drunk/high...

i thought i misunderstood what he was talking about.

I do believe that certain knowledgeable black people and potential leaders aren't appealing enough for the youth.......... a Claud Anderson type can 't motivate anyone- regardless of making sense.
