If GTA V made use of Spotify integration, the game would go to a whole new level

I really believe that's one of the bigger oversights with this game.

For several years, since GTA 4, people asked for Rockstar to allow us to use our own music saved on our console hard drives to create our own stations. I guess they have their reasons for not doing it....

But Spotify(specifically Spotify Premium) would've worked even better IMO, seems like to me they could've integrated your playlists(radio stations) directly from your Spotify account. It really would add a TON more hours of replay value to the game b/c you wouldnt jump in a car and immediately turn the radio off or get tired of hearing the same songs if you're making a long drive. And adding different music would create a different vibe within the game.

They already allow you to tag songs within the game and then it shows up on Rockstar Social club site with a Spotify link, so I dont see why they just can't implement it in the game via a patch.

They could've made a ton more money off of this b/c alot of ppl would subscribe to Spotify Premium just to be able to have unlimited music at their disposal on GTA, and Rockstar could've gotten a kickback

Nah i'd rather have the music come directly from my HD not a stupid app, like on the station list have something called HD as a selectable station and be able to deep dive into the station and customize your own play list by artist, genre, and album

yeah this would be dope. they could do a variety of things really, make playlists off your HD, pandora, last.fm...etc. all of them would add replay value to the game. i used to turn off the radio and play music through my own speakers but it got annoying lowering the volume during cutscenes and whatnot.

They seem to put some effort and money into the radio stations so I don't know if they ever will do that, but that problem they had with Daz might make them rethink.

I will say. . one day I logged on. . Spawned in my garage as usual. Looked at my Elegy like. My baby was gleaming.

Decided to take her out for a lil spin. Maybe hit Blaine County and enjoy the countryside. I jumped in and this was playing.



Music for the soul!! I come out of my apt at Del Perro. Glide to a stop. What a beautiful day in Los Santos! I pause to set a waypoint. Come back to the game and. .

Before the screen goes black I see the faint image of tank treads rolling over my whip.

It did?? I only had it on PS2. I dont remember us having that option. I did love that Vice City soundtrack tho. I hope GTA 6 is back there.

Yeah the og xbox had an internal hd and ps2 didnt.....

Would have been a decent addition. V had the worst soundtrack of all of them, imo. I was extremely disappointed by the radio.
