If GTA V made use of Spotify integration, the game would go to a whole new level

It could have been a legal/licensing issue as to why these songs were cut from the game.

It's not like Rockstar was broke though... Even if they did add these tracks to the DLC coming out sometime later. im sure the artists will be compensated...

Puts it on the independence station

didn't the pc version of gta4 have this? i remember riding around playing my own shyt
