Kanye's name is mostly there for clickbait, he doesn't talk about him that much on this clip.
Still, Kanye was clearly Large Pro inspired to a degree so he feels a kinship that we can't grasp.
Also maybe you aren't aware of how much Large Pro helped other big hip-hop producers. Selflessly. If he feels as if he could have made an impact on Kanye to take him in a different direction who are we to say he's wrong?

Hip-Hop would be much better off if every new artist/producer had to go through a trusted OG like Extra P or Marley Marl first
