How many people would be willing to join?

I feel we need a private place outside of public forums for black men and women to have serious discussions about the many problems that plague our community.

Since trolls and just about anybody can read and reply to what we are talking about in public threads i feel it is necessary to have a private group to discuss black issues.

I would only create it if i felt there was enough people on here who believe it would be a good idea.

Update: Link to the group http://www.thecoli.com/social-forums/supporters-of-a-better-black-future-bbf.56/

only if the group talks about taking action. words are shyt. we need to go smash up some police stations and set fire to them.
:whoa:This that kinda stuff that will scare off 99% of your audience. All that isn't necessary (though it IS one way). You gonna have fools talking so much that in a month you end up in a room sitting next to some isis highhat and a guy who ran on the white house lawn naked with a meat cleaver.

Just support your local cvoli black business mollywatr.com
This the type of dude i'm trying to avoid in serious discussion. Yeah trolls say funny things sometimes but if you look at the condition the black community is in, NOBODY in our community should be laughing

He is actually not too far off the mark. The objective should be co-ops and LOCAL community projects to encourage business independence. Walmart and its ilk are a great way to separate black folks and their communities from the money they spend and pay them pennies in return. It is ALL about the local people building wealth. That violence and pillaging shyt :camby:

i'm about 90% sure he was joking about that mollywatr site. I believe we should support black businesses but not businesses like that. We should be supporting mom and pop shops and black clothing shops not some drink named after a drug

no this that kind of stuff i talked about in the other thread. this that type of stuff that will have dem boys at your front door carting you off before you can even read the 1st coli pro black meeting minutes. one of these days nuccas is going to learn to stop broadcasting their NEXT move. and you cant talk over the internet in plain english under the header "Pro BLACK...." without having dem boys watching you and trying to infiltrate. I wont tell you what TO do, but i surely will tell you what NOT to do. use your head to figure out what you should to thats coming from a strategic angle.

Im with that. And black people have to expand the scope. In my immediate neighborhood, there seems to be a new pay-day loan place or Jamaican cuisine restaurant every few months. Black owned (or operated) businesses? Yup. But they offer NOTHING to the community except low wages, and they usually close up just for another one to start. Pawn shops. Beauty salons. All the kinda places that are dime a dozen and do NOTHING positive for the community. We can own all the businesses we want but if we don't make things, we are sunk. Even the white man knows that, but they have other advantages so selling each other out isn't too hard on them.
