Dude dodged a rape case from a white woman, whether he did it or not

He's an actor, which itself is not a transferable skill and highly competitive butndude has reached the point of his career where he's gaining momentum

But now he's at the point where it can all come crashing down...I'd rather my career be over because insucked at acting or my movie sucked...than because I couldn't swallow my pride

That said, for him to beat a rape charge in the 90s, in the middle Pennsylvania, acquitted by an all white jury of raping a white woman............NO, he need not apologize for anything.
