if Ice Cube hired you to write Last Friday, what would you write?

its obvious theres never ever, ever, ever-ever gonna be another Friday movie. Pops is gone, Deebo, Ezal. Even Rita and Red's father have passed on. its not happening

i was just trying to think of a way to tie up the characters and give everyone an ending. how would you wrap it up?

craig always has a sidekick. if craig came back to the neighborhood after willie died, would day-day come with him? smokey is definitely out of rehab by now, and without Deebo punking him every day, what would he be like? i could see smokey returning cleaned up and religious, only to end up baited into smoking again and returning to his old ways.

there are ways Cube could put out another Friday, but im okay with leaving the Friday universe as it is.

but if Cube gave you the reins for the fourth and final movie, what would you come up with?

I would kill off Craig in the first 5 minutes for c00ning. Have the rest of the cast clown him for the next hour and 30 minutes for being an uncle tom. Role credits. Donate all the money earned to any anti trump efforts. Name the movie Last Friday, The Platinum edition

Scrap the title, scrap all the characters, keep the same atmosphere ,add new story and call it Saturday

Tucker cube Epps got kids who done got into some shyt fukking with big worm little nikkas, they try to talk to worm, worm actually try’s to help but one of the little nikkas is a Debo type nikka and causes a revolt and takes over the group as leader, the community has to come together to stop new Debo/little nikkas, they get damen gay ass to punk ‘em, and the kids stand up for themselves against the new Debo

And of course through the movie you can add all types of call backs and shyt into it, definitely can find a role for katt

I could see it working and not feeling forced

Smokey is a pastor pulled back into some shyt by Craig because he feels guilty about the Worm shyt. Along with Day-Day they get into some mischief.

I agree with @avon barksdale and @Address_Unknown idea. Center the plot around Pops funeral. Where past characters returned to give their condolences, and to reconnect with each other. But that’s only if Witherspoon’s family okayed it. Basically make it a better Death at a Funeral.

First off it wouldn’t focus so much on comedy

The original was a perfect blend of Comedy & realism second kind of pushed it to being a more comedy the third was all comedy fir the most part

I would focus on it being something like the original with a few call backs while making it be it’s own film

I for sure would not let it be a parody of itself within the movie like How High 2 or I Got the Hook Up 2 was
