If a player is hurt and cant play then obviously they cant live up to expectations.

So why not give up on ANY expectations in ANY sport, if it's simply due to injury?

Penny and Kidd both were coming off microfracture surgery back then. Neither harden nor cp3 are coming off major knee issues currently and are completely healthy.

I'm not saying not to have ANY expectations at all. But I say just because two great players team up in the back court does not mean they will be great together. And this is why I think it's entirely to early to rank a back court that aren't even teammates. How many people thought Joe Johnson and Deron Williams were gonna be a great back court this season?
