I agree to an extent. That's why people born into obscene amounts of money sometimes get depressed. The journey is most important but they're already born at the destination.

But

If I'm trying to break into an industry and a family member is well-established in that field then hell yea I would holla at them for the hook up. Not saying he has to carry the dude like he did Memphis Bleek lol but give him a shot. A couple producers, a verse maybe a Kanye feature.
