Very few rappers have had a run like that in terms of consecutive classics with commercial appeal. I think the only contender in the last decade for that category would be Kanye.

exactly why Kendrick is so great and KRIT is stuck where he is.

Kendrick is able to be great in different areas; Section 80 is just what resonated with you, which is cool because he covers a larger range of people than KRIT and the average artist.
