I would say Snoop's Top Dogg was a much more bigger indicator of where Dre was going than Eminem's singles. If "My Name Is..." was a Dre single featuring Eminem. It would've flopped same with "Guilty Conscience". Those songs were perfect for introducing and breaking Eminem as an artist, but didn't exactly scream "Dre is back". "B Please" and "Just Dippin" was like, "ok, Dre is officially back" and it was closer to how 2001 ended up sounding. Besides, "B Please" and "Just Dippin" was the reunion of Snoop and Dre. People forgot about "Zoom".
