If Kristaps pans out/exceeds expectations, will Phil Jackson be considered a genius or lucky?

I'd give him credit. I would pass on Kristaps errday tho...he busts and you lose your job quicker than if a "known" prospect does.

With how soft the league is he could very well have a great Rookie season. I don't see it happening tho, especially since Fatmelo loves to play his position and we saw what happened when STAT was ballin n he came back. This time around he's gonna be there from jump, so I wouldn't be too optimistic.

Eh not really...who else was he gonna pick at that position? Porz had maybe the biggest upside in the draft and that pre workout video was ridiculous

yes, everyone laughed at the knicks saying they fukked up by picking a white, tall euro who could shoot despite what history says. everyone would then say that phil saw something that other GM didn't
