If Kyrie Irving never plays another game, is he a Hall of Famer?

Is Kyrie a HOFer if he retires now?

Yes- rookie of the year, all star teams, all star MVP, 2 gold medals- olympics and fiba world cup, NBA title, great final performances, 3 point champion, all NBA appearances. Was in the 50-40-90 club also. He's a lock based on that when other dudes ain't did as much.

To me, as great as he is individually, he really not able to carry a team as a focal point but better as a 2nd option. When he had that chance in Boston and first year in Brooklyn it wore on him. Also in Cleveland he couldn't get the team up there even though it wasn't a great roster. but he can feed off another player easily. Loved him and lebron together. I think him and KD could have that same energy potentially.

If Kyrie Irving never plays another basketball game, is he a Hall of Famer in your mind?

I suspect the vast majority would say that he is.

Still, he has only played 582 NBA games. Among Hall of Famers, that's near the bottom. And most of the guys down there were largely international players.

I just ask if he has put in the longevity to warrant it.
