like say the Jackson Five never took off and MJ just kept dancing on his own but never became famous.
say he walked up into a club in the mid 80's and just started :mj: all over the place.
how do you think people would react?

would dudes be like :dwillhuh::lupe::ooh:

or would they be like :whoa::camby:

just imagine it....nobody has seen this cat before and now he is grabbing his dikk and yelling "HeeeHeee" as he kicks his leg in the air dangerously close to other peoples faces.

Depends on where he went.

If he went to a predominately black bar then nikkas would've been like :dahell: :camby:

And he was still black back then so if he went to a predominately white spot the cacs would've been like :camby: too

So :patrice:

With a different personality, it would be easier for him to pull it off, but not with the oddball personality he had later in life. He was really just kinda off at times and that would be raising a few eyebrows.

:whoa: I'm a huge fan, just saying.

Kinda off topic, but an underrated part of his fame/popularity, is the fact that he was famous and churning out hits ever since he was a young child....

It's not just the talent, performances and songs that help you gain an audience....part of it is how long you've been in the game in the first place, especially if you were an adorable (no homo/pedo) child when you started out......

If he just randomly came out for the first time in the 80s, he probably would've still scored a record deal with the singing/dancing talent that he had...but there's no way he would've become as famous as he did. I doubt he would've had the same songs (and videos) given to him at that time, since he would've been a newcomer without connections/money built up....and that shyt is what really helped put him over. Raw talent and great live performances, can only take you so far...

That being said......a random performance by that nikka in the club, woulda had dudes :ohhh: in the 80s.....in the 90s, though....:mjlol:

:laff:
In retrospect his crotch grabbing makes me uncomfortable.
Mile would kill them bboy pop locking competitions though. He's hiphop

yeah, he got carried away with it there.
i remember when it first came out and i was watching it as a kid with my family.

everyone is sitting around looking at this man thrusting his hips towards the camera as he clutched his genitals and screamed.
in any other environment that would not be tolerated and most likely police would be called.
