I mean MK has been trash since MK2, its a tier 2 fighting game with tier 1 potential.

Tekken has the best engine & smoother animations and
Streetfighter has nostalgia

Mortal Kombat is not trash, but if it had the Tekken Engine, it would just be Tekken with Mortal Kombat characters

It's the animation breh. They are fun games but the animations from one move to the other has always have me like
SF5 and recently Tekken 7 show how it is to have nice flowing animation
