If Pac & BIG were still alive today, where would their careers be?

Would they be on Jay Z & Nas status. Still lyrically sharp and relativley current with the hip hop wave of today?

Would they have fallen off a la Busta Rhymes, Scarface, Juvenile and subsequently taken a back seat in hip hop?

We all know Pac was a really good actor, so I believe that Pac would be killin on the big screen and Pac would have been involved in more socio-political efforts to further assist the hood.

I'm not sure where BI would be career wise. I couldn't still see him with bad boy in 2013, I don't see him as an executive nor do I see BIG acting (not to say that he couldn't tho) I still think that he would be lyrically sharp, but I wonder could he have held on to his core audience while gathering fans from the new generation

What do y'all think brehs? would Pac or BIG be more popular? Who would have more influence or the better career circa 2013-14?

Pac would most likely would have took the LL or Cube route; establish himself in films/shows. I think Pac would have taken more serious acting roles. And I think I read somewhere that Pac wanted to start his own broadway company or something like that.
B.I.G said he wanted to retire from rap around the year 2000 and he wanted to have his own rap label so I'm guessing he would have been a Jay type nikka. Honestly it's hard to tell who would have more longevity though, it's kinda interesting to see the situation in rap in 2013 if them nikkas had lived.

Pac was on the way back before the orlando situation, he was in some shyt with sam sneed, and he could have violated ..would have gotten out around the time suge got out in 03-04, suge wasnt tryin 2 keep em clean n to stay free, get money while he can, next time he report, its all on him, why u think pac was knockin out albums left and right

plenty of new york rappers had alot of ny influence that all died down

Man that's a tough question. I feel like Pac would've moved on to Hollywood and still made music. BIG probably would've stepped to the CEO label and completely retired from rap. I think it's more interesting to look at how they game would've changed or not changed had they stayed around...Busta and other artists talked about being afraid to make a certain type of music after they died, so maybe that wouldn't have happened. Jay probably wouldn't have the status he has, not saying he wouldn't be great but maybe not the status...Nas and Jay would've never happened. It's also to think about how Bad Boy would look now and if Deathrow would still be around
