Same kind of game? Jordan won every time it mattered except to a Shaq team after not being back in the thick of things. The correct answer would be prime shaq. A dominant big man will always be more important than a ball handler. Closer to the basket, more likely to need a double team, less turnovers, creates more foul trouble, and more.
However, the deeper aspect of this question is how jordan would be percieved if the team of prime Shaq and prime Jordan won, say, 9 championships, but jordan shot 4 less times per game (bringing down his scoring avg) and won maybe 2 or 3 finals MVPs due to being the 2nd option and having a major advantage in the finals at the center position for every finals series.
Would he still be the GOAT?
