This is true. You would be surprised how many middle aged career women want sex with no strings attached just to satisfy their desires. Many of them would prefer it to be transactional for psychological purposes, but they could control the interaction.

To support OP a little bit, maybe he should look at male hosting in Japan for support of what he is saying. But the thing is, I think in their case usually its the same women and like you said, men will sleep with...any women, women who are going to do this are probably going to stick to very few or just one guy for this. So given women are more selective and probably in general do this less, there will still be a discrepancy between men and women here.
Plus in this case, women are paying for the companionship more than sex which women put more value on than men.
