Society wise, I'd rather see...
"current dating status quo" + "arranged dating" + "Legalized Polygamy"
The problem now is society forces everyone into the same pot.
"Lames"[Women & Men] have no business out here in the same pond
("dating status quo") as the wolves[Women & Men]
.
All you end up with now is a bunch well intentioned folks who eventually turn into all these scorned MF's we see across the web crying, moaning, and blaming unrelated people over some random person who did them dirty in the past

.
.
MY SUGGESTION:
African American culture needs a dedicated lane where individual families with children can tell their parent/family they are ready to "date seriously" / "marry". Afterwards other such families can match the children. If a family knowingly lets a wolf into the "arranged dating pond" that family is ostracized from the process for a given time.
I.E. that family can no longer submit anyone (sisters/brothers/cousins etc) into the pond. As a result a wolf is not only fukking over an individual but their entire family with their behavior. So the path of least resistance would be to go hit a club, bar, etc to play games with willing participants instead of involving their entire family.
TIMESTAMPED FOR CONVENIENCE
Likewise the Legalized Polygamy lets all the "Ms. take yo man" gold diggers & "Step out on the ol lady" Rolling stones congregate in the other corner. ...instead of damaging folks who simply want a regular degular monogamous "kids, dog, and career" marriage.

Those type of changes would be preferable to Legalized Brothels
SIDENOTE: I've read loads of anthropological works and prostitution is
not a normal aspect of most African societies throughout history
(don't talk to me about modern times) ....the whole
"oldest profession in the world" nonsense comes from there being prostitutes in the bible. There were over 2 million years of human activity in the form of hunter gather, pastoral, etc societies before the timeframe depicted in the bible. And prostitution is not a staple of such societies. Families were apt to find their children spouses just as the child was to find one on their own. I doubt there was a statistically significant bunch of cattle herders standing around talking about "Game" between fending off lion attacks. Short of some Mbororo(Fulani) type stuff going on.
RANDOM STORY:
I just remembered this anthropological(traveler) account from the 1800's out of Ghana where a young guy was trying to get this girl to marry him based off his own charm. The girl refused so the boy killed himself. The village then held court and decided to kill the girl for causing the boy to kill himself. I was like well damn!
NOTE: I think the traditional law was that if you killed someone you were to be killed
(other things you might be fined or kicked out the village) ...after deliberation they decided she fell under the purview of that village law.
It was a kind sad story/account all around.
OK, I'm all off topic now
