Not a slight to other great MCs who have died too soon, but death has a way of elevating an artist's legend (not just hip-hop, or even music).

Another scenario would have been if snoop would have been railroaded into a guilty verdict for whatever-degree murder. I wonder what that would have done to his standing in history.
