If a cheetah or a monkey was able to talk in English, would you treat them with the same deference as you treat humans with?

this for some reason made me think of the book 'animal farm' where basically the animals chased the humans away and then the pigs ended up occupying the space left by the humans. so basically the pigs became the humans and started oppressing the other animals. i'm simplifying the overall message of the book here, but i used to love it as a kid.

imagine a cheetah having all its natural abilities such as strength and agility, along with human traits like communication.
that motherfukker would basically replace us as the dominant force on this planet.
