How much worse or better would the Cavs/Warriors be? The Cavs now have to trade Kyrie and they will get more players but they will never be able to replace his dynamic ability that made Cleveland so special.

The only 2 players in the league that match Kyrie"s explosiveness and creativity would Steph Curry and Damian Lilliard. A pure shooting point who can create is what Lebron requires to continue to compete.

If it were a flat out trade scenario i would not trade Kyrie for Lilliard at all...because Lilliard doesn't finish the way Kyrie does.

But Steph on the otherhand would be real interesting playing with Lebron. But would he be able to be Steph having to play with a guy that dominates the ball as much as Lebron does? No one is allowed to dominate the ball in Goldenstate at all. So Steph would be somewhat diminished. So even though he is a better player than Kyrie...would he be better in Cleveland than Kyrie was?

Would Curry be the most ideal PG for Bron's style of play? :ohhh:

A Combo Guard who can be the playmaker with Bron off the floor *in theory*, play well off ball, and knock down shots to space the floor.

Cavs would be much better but end results probably the same

Much better? You sure about that? Sure Curry is better but playing bron would take the ball out of Steph"s hands and force him to have to ISO more. Is he a better iso scorer than kyrie? No way....so are we sure steph will be better in that role than Kyrie was?

He is an elite off ball player who can shoot from anywhere.
Steph can kill any team without being the primary ball handler

Curry is better fit for lebron I think cavs could win
Problem is the defense only gets marginally better with curry instead of kyrie

Obviously the team Curry went to would be better, as he is the better player. I'm not sure if the difference between the two players is large enough to offset the overall difference between the Warriors and Cavs. The big question would be if Kyrie would be willing/able to change his game to fit into how the Warriors play. There is no question that Bron and Steph would fit perfectly.

GS still wins. If Cle play at its play Bron ball i don't think Curry numbers look the same

Kyrie has outscored Steph on more shots per game in each of the last two Finals.

I agree with what you're saying but the offense Cleveland runs is way less complex and much more easier for defenses to scheme for. In Golden State they run a complex motion offense with constant movement and cutting...in Cleveland Lebron initiates about 70% of the offense. And Even though Cleveland does run some good actions at times their overall offense is a great deal less complex

Meaning it would require Curry to create more for himself in ISO situations. Would be able to do that on the level of a Kyrie? To sustain the dynamic of Cleveland?

Steph was getting his in a less complex offense before the Warriors ascended. While he's no Kyrie as far as iso scoring he's still a problem if he's singled up on any player. Beyond that the offense would likely have more movement and flow if you only had one ball dominant player rather than 2.
