if symmetry doesn't ever really happen in nature then why do humans like it so much?

Everyone is a little bit asymmetrical.

People who are even ALMOST totally symmetrical look weird and they're rare.

Models are the perfect example of this. Most models are more symmetrical then your average women. But most men would prefer a pretty girl next door type to a model. Cuz even though models are symmetrical they're not conventionally pretty.

But people prefer faces that look some what symmetrical to the naked eye because its a sign of good health. If one side of your face is totally different from the other thats a sign that you're prolly not the healthiest person and you prolly got crappy genes.

Symmetry is actually scary as far as faces goes. The little inconsistencies help, but symmetrical features are seen typically as unnatural.

I see symmetry as a constant of nature both physical and abstract.

I think the reason you don't see it as a natural occurance is because you're factoring space alone, as opposed to space and time together.
