Soccer i cant figure out,all these immigrant children of some of the top playing countries in the world coming up in this country yet we cant field a decent national team...speaks volumes how bad the recruiting and funding for it is here,cuz thats what it is...
Even if all our young NBA guys played we'd still be a middle of the pack team internationally right now cuz none of these guys are stars...

soccer is the most played sport in canada as well, there is just zero funding.
and the few cats that are good they go overseas at a young age 14,15 and end up playing for those countries, hargreaves, that nukka who played for netherlands who was born and bred in brampton
canada has the money and a great country to poach some young phenom kid out of brazil or whatever and set his fam up in canada
we used to do that for track and field
we aint winning medals but experience adn making the olympics/world cup is a star.
