Crazy that this organization is in this position. They have Noel who played well in the 2nd half of the season and Embiid coming next season.

Okafor and Towns won't work on this team, draft Winslow or Mudiay at #1? Draft Towns or Okafor and trade the pick for more?

They are in a great position, slightly ahead of the Timberwolves.

I like to shyt on them for their 10 year tank plan but if this works trading MCW will go down as one of the most ballsy trades by a GM. Most people could see that MCW was a scrub but trading a ROY winner when your getting heavy heat for tanking takes balls. Russell is gonna be a stud in this league.

Think the injury will scare them away from Mudiay? Russell played very well at Ohio St, could be a great pick...not many are talking about him.

The reality is that moving down without incentive is pointless and teams like NY, MIN, LA don't have parts worthy enough to move down (and teams that luck out and jump up into the top 3 will be too happy to be there to trade up)

That's why you take them first if you are in that position and force a #3 or #4 team to give you Russell + another pick down the line.
