If the Lakers had kept Ariza they'd be on their way to a 6th straight finals

Keeping him was a better long term option than Artest but Mitch was in win now mode and got Artest for what was considered a deal at the time.w

If the Lakers had managed to hold on to him, they probably wouldn't have near the perimeter defense problems they have now. Still couldn't guard big guys like Melo and Bron though.

I won't say Ariza alone woulda secured us more success, nor will I discredit Artest for his work in the 2010 Finals. But I definitely co-sign Lakers having a bottom 5 FO, this is the second time we've see this team end up being garbage. I'm sayin, Mitch is back in the doghouse if moves aren't made.

Can we stop talking about that team? Let some teams that are actually good get some shine for once. I rather talk about the big mandingo warriors that are actually playing at the moment (Serge, Z-bo, and David West)

That's a pretty bad rap sheet. He couldn't sustain what Logo left for him nor could he sustain what he himself created. If nash is still on this team and f'ucktoni is still coach we gotta take it back to the 2006 fukk mitch kupchak type style. Wasted Kobe's prime and now his renaissance? What a piece of shyt. :upsetfavre:

That Luke Walton contract. :noah:

To be fair, Stern fukked up his master plan. He probably would've had a trio of Kobe/CP3/Howard if everything went right.

And wasting Kobe's prime is probably one of the most egregious mistakes made on any superstar in the modern era. Outside of Hakeem I can't name another top 10 player that didn't have a great team in his prime. :snoop:

They were 8-2 in the playoffs against Denver, why are you mentioning Melo?

shyt's truly sad, Kobe should of had a contender around him in '06. Figures Shaq won with :washedwade: that year. If he wasn't such a jealous hoe about it that coulda been his 4th or 5th in LA. :ld:
