If the lakers put Gasol on the trading block, OKC should pick up the phone

They should offer some deal of Lamb, Perkins, and both first rounders. Even if it is for rental. Gasoline was the perfect comiemntary player to a star/ franchise player and he accepts that role unreluctantly. He would give the thunder the inside presence they lack and vet/championship experience pls they get rid of Perkins and with liggins developing/progressing well they really don't need Lamb

That's be a decent trade for both teams

OKC would definitely become Western Conference favorites with a healthy Pau.

The problem is, Pau is 33 and is FA next summer... Plus he has some injuries.

Yep, plus Gasoline doesn't bring none of diva, egotistical bullshyt that other bigs bring tot he equation when they they're not brought in or thought of as the face of the franchise. Not sure how cap works though. Plus they wouldn't have to bring in Fisher anymore for veteran leadership

I don't know, we still need a PF then. Jordan Hill would have to start. A Dwight/Perkins combo would make my brain explode especially when they both foul out in 20 minutes of play. :pacspit:

Bean wouldn't be too happy either...

Ok. If it don't work out, they at last shed the contract of Perkins. They not going get any rotational players in this draft for now or the future. If it does work out, they get a ring and decision to be made. It's basically a low risk, high reward type of deal.

Perfect way to tank for Wiggins.

:leon: Yea thunder would be a problem with pau. That's what they lack is inside scoring

But that's way too much to give up for a declining 33 year old with one year left on his contract

This trade could be more difficult though since Pau's expiring at $19 million.

Perkins is at $8 million...Lamb and the two other picks leaves it short a bit.

But u so get a possible heir tot he throne in Lamb once Kobe decides to hang sm up. But for now he could be first man off the bench.

OKC can even throw in an extra pick since they have 3 in the top 32.

My point is you don't know how the injury affects Westbrook front his point on so it be pivotal to get a real third option and play to win now. Jackson, liggins and colison off the bench puts this team as ready now to win than ever

They wouldn't need Gasol to play a primary role, just a complimentary role. Scott brooks wouldn't have him playing Westbrook/Durante type minutes.
