It's definitely going to replace some jobs, that's a given.
There are probably some folks out there using it for good. Trying to figure out more sustainable solutions for humankind around food, energy, medicine, environmentalism, etc. And there are surely others out there using it for diabolical purposes.
As easy and seamless as Chat GPT responds to our commands, imagine something 10x more powerful responding to whatever command it is given.
And there's also an AI race going on in the private sector, with probably even less morals involved.
It will be very difficult to to tell what's authentic audio and video moving forward.
