No, They still have a top 3 best in the league player, The reigning DPOY and one of the best shooters of all time.

Why should there be an asterisk?
I have spent the last 3 or so nba seasons hearing ad infinitum that this team is manifest destiny written in basketball
I was told that steph was the best player in the world
I was told that Draymond is a franchise player....one of the best defenders ever...worthy of his all star and that his one game suspension was the reason the other team won.
I have been told that Klay is a franchise player and the best two guard in the league....In fact people have gotten on tv and said is the best two way player in the game....now I know that those people should have been drug tested but still they said that shyt.
I was also told that KD is now the best player in the world
IT WAS ALSO SAID THAT THE WARRIORS WENT AFTER KD BECAUSE THEY WOULD STILL HAVE A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO STEPH
Iguodala and Livingston are still there......and y'all definitely told me that it was worth KD taking a paycut to keep them there and rack up chips
So no there should be no asterisk.....cause by all metrics they are still considered the favorites arent they?
After all Dubs fans spent this whole season saying the Rockets are frauds.....so which is it now?
And none of this matters anyway.......cause steph will definitely be back for the playoffs......I would bet money on it. He will sit out the first round at most,
