I don't mean injuries that the winning teams get, but the teams that they face.

Yeah, but the only way to measure that is to compare to how often you get hurt.

If Jordan's Bulls were literally never getting hurt, and the teams he faced had serious injuries 1/3 of the time, then Jordan got pretty lucky.

If Lebron's teams were having a major injury half the time, and so did the teams they faced, then it's a wash.

Most teams aren’t healthy come playoffs. The year the Cavs won the warriors wasn’t healthy

:usure:

'ol false equivalence ass brother talking right here.

"The Warriors had two of their top five at 80% and a 12 minute/game guy who missed 3 games" has no relation to "That team's star got knocked out for the season" or "that team lost two major starters for the whole series."

The "unhealthy" Warriors in 2016 was just normal. (On the Cavs' side they also had Love miss a game with a concussion and never look the same after that, Shump was playing hurt, Delly was hurt, and Mosgov still wasn't back to his old self.)

Lol, Chicago fans in that era were beyond delusional. They weren't beating the Heat much less winning a title.

That delusional ass bulls fan thought they were beating the Heat. :mjlol:

:dead:

Get thrown out in 5 in the ECF by a team that doesn't even win the title, come back with the exact same team next year and no one improved, and think you can "assume" you're just gonna win a title. :bryan:

* Okay, their one addition was 33yo Rip Hamilton who went and retired the next year. He wasn't gonna be the difference.

How were they not?

Bogut got injured DURING the Cavs series.

Everyone else, if my memory serves me correctly, played.

Curry was injured in the first series of the offs. Pretty missed that series and came back vs Portland when the warrior most def needed him and took over that game 5 when it was 2-2 and scored like 17 in ot on them. But he was never the same after that injury, every game his knee was fully swollen and shyt

Will there be an asterisk by the name of the team that wins the Championship given this current rash of injuries that could seriously effect the Warriors in the playoffs?
