Unless they start doing matrix level holgraphic stuff. I'm good on the graphics front. don't need to pay a premium to get the peak of whatever year it is.
Its why i never shelled out for the pro version of any console either. In fact i have a powerful gaming PC. but only use it when there is a PC exclusive game i want.

I'm 44 and my first system was an Atari. And you are not paying a premium cuz these mods are free. I edit 4k video so I'm going to need a powerful rig regardless

I don't really bother with mods. They used to have those on consoles too fyi, game genie and all was a thing back in the day. If the demand was there they could allow for mods on consoles. (some games do actually)
