Man.real talk. Even if he’s a professional bodybuilder cutting for a show… he’s still full of shyt imo…. Old school bodybuilders don’t have “cheat” days when cutting…. Dude is just posting for engagement
But did he say he is a bodybuilder? He's probably a Average Joe trying to cut down below 20-25% BF and get the core looking decent before summer. In that case, this is definitely a cheat meal b/c you're not getting that eating this regularly unless you're doing OMAD. Calories are too high in the steak.

Bodybuilders will eat this when they're in offseason or growth phase (5k cals> a day). When they're in prep mode it's strict rice/chicken/fish/lean beef.

Looks like a protein meal. The banana is just "dessert" with a lil potassium to boot. Lets not over think this. They're probably bulking.

There is a lot of variables that go into that…. dude didn’t post an exercise routine or what his fitness goals were or even his age for that matter….. there aren’t any bad carbs in that pic if he is actually getting money… and since he claims he is “cutting” …..2000 calories is just 2000 calories according to these types….

You sure? Your average steak should be 300 - 500 calories.
That's a 16 oz ribeye. Without counting the butter/oil he cooked it in, that's minimum 1200cal.

Steak + oil/butter = 1500 cal
Two eggs = 150 cal
Banana = 140 cal
Toast = 80 cal

This is a 2000 cal meal. If you're cutting (I'm assuming op is) then this is definitely a cheat meal.

Calories >>> carbs when it comes to cutting getting lean.

Exactly. It’s a NY strip… it’s not a fatty piece of meat… The eggs even fried with butter is probably 250 calories.max.
That's a ribeye bro. Idk why it says ribeye and ny strip in OP but that's def a ribeye.

Yeah. Had to go back and look and that’s definitely not a NY strip for sure…. Looks like a boneless ribeye like you said. HOWEVER, it’s just more evidence that the Reddit poster is full of shyt with the misleading title

Bmore stand up!
1) is that a white man’s breakfast??

2) that steak and eggs looks fukking gross

3) steak and eggs is actually a staple on a low carb/keto diet… minus the toast and banana of course

4) you can have steak and eggs as long as the portions are controlled…… he needs to cut the steak in half at least, because that’s about 800 calories right there alone

The nutritional content of a 16-ounce ribeye steak can vary depending on factors such as the cut of meat, cooking method, and fat content. However, here are some approximate nutritional values: [1, 2]
  • Calories: 1200-1400
  • Fat: 80-100 grams
  • Saturated Fat: 30-40 grams
  • Cholesterol: 300-500 milligrams
  • Protein: 60-80 grams
  • Sodium: 500-1000 milligrams
  • Carbohydrates: 0 grams [2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]
It's important to note that these are just estimates, and the actual nutritional content may be higher or lower. Additionally, ribeye steak is a good source of iron, zinc, and vitamin B12. [10, 11, 12]
