If this were the 90's, Kid Cudi would be one of the biggest names in music

This isn't to say that he's completely underground or goes without being acknowledged because he does have a core fanbase but he reminds me of the 90's but in a modern way so much, man.

The way that he's able to this Hip Hop/Pop/Rock infused alternative music is amazing. It's so organic and natural. If this were the 90's dude would be one of the biggest artists around like in the way that Kanye West is one of the biggest names in music right now.

Cudi only woulda worked as part of a group or something. none of his music could have come out in the 90s as rap..unless he was gonna be a pop sensation and get no respect in the rap game(ala in real life, minus the sensation part)
